FAQ's
Still have a question?
Most of them. We work on study and work permits, visitor visas and Super Visas, Express Entry and provincial nominee programs, family sponsorship, citizenship and restoration of status.
It depends on the application and how complex it is. We'll confirm the fee in writing before any work begins. Government fees are paid separately, directly to IRCC.
No. Value Visa Inc. is a private, independent consultancy. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) makes the decision on every application.
No one can, because IRCC decides every case. What we can do is make sure your application is complete, accurate and well supported, which gives it the best footing possible.
A backlog means applications are waiting to be processed. IRCC's published processing times are estimates, not promises for an individual file. The time needed can vary by application type and circumstances, and a delay alone does not tell you whether a decision will be positive or negative. Keep your contact details current, monitor official messages and respond to document requests by the stated deadline. Use the official processing-time tool for current information rather than relying on someone else's timeline.
IRCC processing times (opens in a new tab)Use the official IRCC status page to find the account or tracker for your application type. Have your application details and correspondence available, and check the account used for the submission for messages or requests. Different applications can use different systems, so a missing update in one tool does not by itself establish that a file is lost. If Value Visa represents you, contact us about the correspondence and updates on your file.
Check your application status (opens in a new tab)There is no general paid fast track that Value Visa can promise. Any official urgent-processing option depends on the application and the circumstances. We can help review the instructions and supporting evidence for your situation. A complete application and timely responses to requests help address avoidable issues, but they do not guarantee a processing date or priority treatment.
Start by checking the current official processing information and reviewing your account for unanswered requests. Keep a record of submission dates, acknowledgements and correspondence. If you contact Value Visa, share that timeline and any upcoming expiry date so we can review the next appropriate step. Waiting for one application does not automatically resolve a separate status, work, study or travel-document issue. We cannot promise to speed up IRCC's decision.
LMIA requirements depend on the position, wage, location and program stream. Employers should check Employment and Social Development Canada's current instructions before recruiting or applying. Value Visa can review the proposed role and supporting records with you; a positive LMIA does not itself authorize a worker to work in Canada.
